How to Make Pomni in Tomodachi Life: Face Paint Tutorial

Pomni from The Amazing Digital Circus is one of the most requested Mii face paint designs in the community right now. Her jester design is instantly recognizable but requires careful grid planning — especially the checkered hat pattern.

Mii Base Settings

Before you enter the face paint editor, set up the base Mii:

Face Paint Step-by-Step

Step 1: White base

Inside the hat, paint alternating purple and white cells. Use the 4px brush for this — it gives you 64 cells of detail. Reference a checkerboard pattern or use the grid tool to mark exactly which cells should be dark vs light.

Step 4: Face details

• Eyes: Large droopy eyes with heavy eyelids. Use black for the eyeliner, white for the eye whites, and a dot of dark purple for the pupils.
• Cheeks: Small red circles on both cheeks, about 4-6 cells wide on the 8px grid.

Step 5: Layer review
